REGA Engineering Group, Inc. is proud to announce that Murtaza Nalwala has officially earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nebraska. Murtaza is also working toward additional licensure in Texas, Kansas, and Missouri, further expanding REGA's ability to serve clients across our growing footprint.

This achievement is a meaningful milestone for Murtaza and for REGA as a firm. With multiple licensed PEs now on staff, REGA can review and sign plans more efficiently, helping projects move through design and approval faster without sacrificing quality or accuracy. For clients, that means shorter turnaround times and a smoother path from concept to construction.

What Does It Mean to Be a Professional Engineer?

A Professional Engineer (PE) license is the highest standard of competence in the engineering profession. Earning a PE license requires a combination of education, work experience, and passing rigorous exams. Licensed PEs are legally authorized to sign and seal engineering plans, taking professional and legal responsibility for the safety and accuracy of a project's design. Having more PEs on staff allows REGA to review, approve, and deliver projects with greater speed and flexibility.

Recognizing Murtaza's Contributions

Since joining REGA, Murtaza has worked on a wide range of civil engineering projects and now handles the majority of the firm's Investigative Engineering work. Alongside earning his PE license, Murtaza was also promoted to Project Manager, a role in which he is already successfully managing multiple projects at once.
