Founded in 2003, REGA Engineering has spent more than 20 years partnering with municipalities, individual developers, commercial developers, universities, and private clients on land development and infrastructure projects across the Midwest and Great Plains. With offices in Lincoln, Omaha, and Houston, more than 4,000 completed projects, and licensure in 14 states, we bring regional expertise and real connection to every initiative.
We offer Civil Engineering, Survey, Planning, Landscape Architecture, Irrigation Design, and Investigative Engineering services in Nebraska and Texas. Our team collaborates closely across offices to deliver coordinated, efficient solutions for both public and private sector clients. We communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and take ownership of our work from concept through construction.

REGA Started
REGA Engineering Group, Inc. was founded on February 10th, 2003, at 5000 Central Park Drive in Lincoln, Nebraska. REGA’s first project was the Lincoln Grand Cinema, which opened in downtown Lincoln in 2004.
REGA Purchases ESP
REGA Engineering purchased Engineering Surveying Planning (ESP) from Lyle Loth in 2015 and relocated to its current location at 601 Old Cheney Road in Lincoln, Nebraska. With the acquisition of ESP, REGA expanded its services to include residential land development.
REGA Begins to Offer Landscape Architecture Services
REGA Engineering hired a landscape architect in 2018 and began offering landscape architecture services. REGA’s first landscape project was the Aloft Hotel in Omaha, Nebraska.
REGA Purchases Water Scape, Inc. and Begins Offering Irrigation Services
REGA Engineering purchased local irrigation company Water Scape, Inc. from Kenneth Merboth in February of 2021. REGA then began offering irrigation services on projects such as the Elkhorn Athletic Association Sports Complex located in Valley, Nebraska.
Nathaniel Burnett Becomes REGA President
Nathaniel Burnett was promoted to President of REGA Engineering in 2022. REGA also expanded into Suite B at 601 Old Cheney Road to accommodate their surveying department.
REGA Expands to Houston, Texas
In 2025, REGA Engineering Group proudly opened a new office in Houston, Texas. With the addition of the Houston office, REGA is well-positioned to bring its expertise to new markets while maintaining the integrity, precision, and client-focused approach that have defined the firm since its founding in 2003.
Expansion with Omaha Office Opening
In 2026, REGA Engineering Group expanded its footprint with the opening of an office in Omaha, Nebraska. The new location builds on the firm’s strong Midwest roots and creates greater access for clients throughout Eastern Nebraska & Western Iowa. From this office, REGA continues its hands-on approach to civil engineering services, delivering thoughtful solutions shaped by experience, responsiveness, and a focus on lasting relationships.
